Reblogging for mom and dad - put this on your Netflix queue. You won’t regret it!This is life-affirming.
Bill is an 82 year old fashion photographer for the New York Times. He rides his bicycle all over NYC and stands on street corners photographing fashion trends of regular people. He shoots celebs at galas and models at runway shows. Bill was one of the last few artists living in the apartments at Carnegie Hall until they were forced out last year; his unit was crammed with decades worth of file cabinets of photographic negatives.
This documentary follows Bill as he goes about his daily life photographing on the street and compiling layouts for the NY Times. It’s a portrait of a remarkable man who is so dedicated to his art. I walked out of the theater feeling inspired to live life more fully and pursue my passions with more dedication.
